Dear Cobak Community,
We are pleased to announce that Cobak has achieved 100% of the 2024 roadmap goals. Here are the details of our accomplishments.
For reference, the 2024 roadmap was initially announced on January 16, and you can review the progress achieved in Q1, Q2, and Q3 through the links below.
Q4 2024
[Improvement and stabilization of CBK V2 services]
Introduction of the Space System
Although Cobak has been pursuing a Web3 platform, it primarily operated as a centralized Web2 community service. For instance, it offered fixed categories and boards managed unilaterally by administrators, limiting users’ ability to propose or engage with new topics actively.
To address this issue, we have introduced the Space System. This system enables users to create and manage topics, granting them autonomy to operate small communities tailored to their specific interests or objectives. Furthermore, Cobak has enhanced the user experience with a cleaner and more intuitive UI, moving beyond the traditional board structure.
The Space System sets the foundation for Cobak’s transition into a genuine Web3 platform. It fosters a more active and diverse community environment where user participation thrives.
Revamp of the Badge System
Cobak’s previous badge system, which was last updated in 2021, had limitations. Badges were primarily issued to influencers and official accounts, leaving active community members unrecognized. Additionally, users couldn’t view their badges on their profile pages or set a badge as their representative symbol.
To overcome these limitations, Cobak has revamped the badge system. Now, badges are awarded based on user activity, and users can easily view their earned badges on their profile pages. Furthermore, a feature allowing users to set a “Representative Badge” has been added, enabling them to express their identity more clearly.
This update helps users feel a greater sense of belonging and recognition for their efforts in the community. It also serves as an essential catalyst for enhancing community engagement and participation.
Cobak Operational Policy Update
Previously, unclear operational policies led to repetitive and low-value activities within the community. For example, users frequently posted repetitive content to complete missions or copied and pasted external content from sources like news outlets and Telegram. These behaviors negatively impacted the quality of the community and made it challenging for users to exchange meaningful investment-related information.
To address this, Cobak has clarified its community direction through an updated operational policy. The revised policy prohibits copying and pasting others’ content, limits repetitive activities, and enforces adherence to content guidelines for each board and category.
These improvements aim to transform Cobak into a platform where users can share valuable information and insights to support their investment activities. With these changes, the quality of Cobak’s content has significantly improved, creating an e nvironment conducive to healthier and more meaningful user engagement.
Cobak is committed to continuous growth as a user-centric Web3 investment information platform based on community engagement.
We look forward to your continued support and interest.
Thank you.
